You Weren't Supposed to Cross This Bridge

We are pleased and honored to be publishing Joanna C. Valente’s book of photography, #SURVIVOR. In her own words:

#SURVIVOR explores what it means to be a survivor, particularly survivors of sexual and domestic trauma, gender trauma, but really, inequalities in any form. I am also exploring what it means for a place and landscape to inhabit trauma just as bodies do, and what trauma does to the earth.

It will be available in Fall/Winter 2019.

In the meantime, we will be featuring several of Joanna’s photographs in the latest issue of our zine Octicorn, available now for pre-order, to be shipped on the end of April. Please see our buy page to obtain a copy of Octicorn Vol. II.
